I’ve had the opportunity to get to know a diverse group of extraordinary people. The ones I admire most are individuals who seem to embody wisdom and who seem truly and deeply happy from the inside out. These individuals have included elders, successful business people, spiritual leaders, political advocates, other therapists and educators. As I’ve observed these folks, I’ve recognized patterns in the habits that these happy and wise people all seem to share:
Habit #3: They’re aware of their own thoughts and the power that thoughts have over our lives. They’ve developed control over their own thoughts and don’t allow them to get stuck in negativity.
